Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah!

I've been on the nice list all year long but my mommy disagrees and says I have flip flopped from the nice list to the naughty on several occasions.

So she's unsure if Santa Claus will bring me any presents. Phew on her. I have been a sweet angel all year long aside from . . .

1. Barking relentlessly at the neighbor's parrot that squawks in the backyard. In my mind, we sound like Sonny and Cher (I'm Cher because we have the same hair) but my mommy doesn't appreciate our duets.

2. Pacing the house at all hours of the night when it's raining. This drives my mommy nuts because my long girly nails clickitty-clack on the wood floors keeping her awake. This hasn't happen much since it was the worst drought on record for Texas but it still make my mommy grumpy!

3. Growling at my mommy when she's trying to clean the food out of my beard. Why does she insist on taking my snacks for later???

4. Laying on her new couch. What? It's not for me? Who else would it be for if I'm home 24/7?

5. Fighting with my sister over food. Have you seen my sister? She's on a diet, so she doesn't need the extra treats!

6. Chewing on my mommy's wood trim during the thunderstorms. Didn't I mention rain makes me very, very nervous! The chewing takes my mind off the scary thunder but make my mommy super mad! She doesn't understand why I won't chew on the million toys sprawled around the house. I don't have to explain myself, she lives at my house not vice versa!

Anyways, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

PS. Mommy said if I bark at Santa Claus, I will scare him and his reindeer away so I'll get no presents! No Barking??? I hope his reindeer poop all over my mommy's garden gnomes!

WookieBooks Sponsors Book Drive!
Your Old Books Can Help SNAP Turn the Page on Animal Overpopulation!
Do you have old books sitting on the shelf that you need to get rid of? Most of us do, but we also know that selling them to used bookstores rarely profits us very much. What if you could turn those aging tomes into funds to support spay-neuter surgeries for animals living in low-incomehouseholds? Thanks to Houston-based WookieBooks, now you can!
All you have to do is drop off your used books in good condition at the SNAP Spay-Neuter and Animal Wellness Clinic in Houston or San Antonio from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011. The Houston Clinic is at 1801 Durham Dr., Suite 1. The San Antonio Clinic is at 6758 Ingram Rd. (facing the 410 feeder) in San Antonio. WookieBooks will then resell those books and donate 30 percent of the gross proceeds to SNAP!
SNAP is grateful to WookieBooks for helping the animals in our communities to turnthe page on the overpopulation problem. Every book you turn in brings us thatmuch closer to a world where there are no homeless dogs andcats.

Siblings

My mommy has a black belt in animal rescue! There are 6 of us at home and 2 in doggie heaven.

Here's my two sisters and my older brother begging for my mommy's ice cream. I don't know why she doesn't share? Oh wait, her ice cream cone isn't big enough for 6 dogs and one mommy.

Happy Easter!!!

Mommy said the Easter Bunny came to our house and hid eggs in the backyard for my nieces and nephews that will be coming over today.

But Mommy doesn't know that I left some "eggs" of my own hidden in the backyard except mine aren't different colors. They are all brown!

Here's to finding as many colored eggs as you can!
(This is my cousin, Molly. She's a rescue too!)

Happy Earth Day

What "GREEN" are you doing today?

Did you know that WookieBooks is green too?

We rescue unwanted books, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes from landfills. We sell what we can. Donate to literacy partners such as homeless shelters, churches and hospitals. And recycle deteriorating conditioned books.

I'll spend my Earth Day sunbathing in the backyard, listening to the parrot squawk next door and "recycling" my dog food back to Mother Earth's green grass.

How will you give back to the Earth today?

It wouldn't be spring in America without little league baseball

Personally, I love a good game of catch! But my mommy calls it chase because she throws the ball, I fetch it and make her chase me to get it back. Isn't that how all proper games of catch are played? Silly mommy!

Well, the little leaguers are already playing catch and baseball at Oaks Dads' Club located at East T. C. Jester Blvd and West 34th Street. When you go by to watch some super cute T-ball, look for our sign in the outfield.

We are a proud supporter of Oaks Dad's Club and all the little leaguers that play there. They are HUGE animal lovers as well.
